I just finished installing a Kenwood DPX701 into my 2001 Mustang GT with the Mach 460. I used the Metra 70-5519 Harness to connect it and have a few questions. The Metra Harness has 2 RCA jacks on it that are supposed to be for the stock amps. Where should these plug into on the HU, the RCA outs for the front, rear, or for the subwoofer? The radio sounds great, except I do not get any bass out of the speakers until I turn on 2 zone option. The front speakers in the door are producing a little sound, but it more mid that bass. When I turn the 2 zone on, I get bass from the back speakers. Right now I have the RCAs plugged into the Front jacks on the HU. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Ok, after a little more research on the subject, I found a similar post where it is recommended to buy 2 RCA y-adapters to use in order to split the mono jacks so they can be plugged in the FR, FL, RR,RL RCA jacks on the radio. Now my question is, if the those amplified speakers are used mainly for lows, what are the disadvatages to just plugging them into the pre-out specifically for the sub?
