I currently am working on a 1991 honda civic sedan. The wiring chart on this website is not the same as this civic. (1988-91 Honda Civic Stereo Information ) I am looking for the wire that is used for the stereo memory. I thought it would be the constant 12 Volt + wire, however this wire (Blue/White ) does not work. The other wire that does not match the chart is the switched 12V+ Instead of (Yellow/Red) it is WHITE/ Blue. The switched 12V+ Does power the radio however I cannot keep any pre programmed stations in the deck. Does anyone know what wire to hook the radio memory wire to?

Thank You

I'm not working in a shop anymore so I don't have access to many tools. I am pretty much doing this blind.

posted_imageYou are taking a good chance to short something going in posted_image You always want to double or even triple check your wires before connections are made.

Go to this link: https://www.velocitymotorsport.com/install_notes/acura.htm and there is a picture of a Honda/Acura plug & a detailed picture of the plug with the different possible colors of the wires for the constant & switch ignition wires.
