Hey,
I have just finished installing a small system (deck, amp, sub) and i've noticed that the bass seems to kick a little bit late. Maybe it's just me, but does any one know why this may happen? and what i can do to fix it?

thanks

try inverting the polarity of the sub wires. pos to neg, neg to pos and listen for the effect. if the bass sounds better leave it this way, if not swap wires back and try repositioning the sub.

Prove your connections, use a meter!
I promise, I'll behave!

Well what is your setup? Some subs are just quicker than others.

If it is late, tell it to smarten up or you will ground it for 2 weeks and it cannot go to graduation. What kind of box is the sub in?

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

Lol...or just plug it into the wall outlet for punishment until it straitens up.
