I when I turn my sub up high with a song with alot of bass the sub amp blows a fuse. Could it be the grounds of the amp, or could it be i dont have a big enough alternator? Thanks

Try adjusting your gains properly, there are several post on the12volt describing how to do this. I have also seen a sub go bad or blow and cause this same problem. The alternator is not the problem. It might be helpful to list what kind of models you have including model numbers.

It could be a number of things. Always post the model#'s of the equipment in question, in this case the amp and sub. Post how it is wired, what size wiring is used, where it is ran, this is the kind of info we need to zero in on your particular problem.
