Where should I hook in the remote wire on my 2002 Ford Explorer? I'm still using the factory hu and don't have a power antenna.

You can use a relay.

Posting model of vehicle and which sound package it has may help.

2002 Explorer XLS, not sportrac. Standard sound system

Hm...you could just tap into an accessory wire that provides a 12volt signal when the key is turned.
