Hello all,

I have a new 2006 accord and I've already replaced the rear 6x9's. I'm thinking of getting some matching boston acc. comps for the front and getting an amp. By searching i've found the easiest way to do it is just use the stock wires at the HU (connected to amp output) that run to the front doors.

Obviously, I don't need the stock tweeters which are paralleled in w/ the oem fronts. Can I just disconnect them at the dash with no ill effects? Having that extra run of "unused" wire, from where ever it is split at, won't hurt will it?

Newb, but learning!!!!

Thanks,

Jeremy

Yeah you can just leave them but I'd tape em up...Leaving them won't hurt anything.

THanks for the reply. Yeah, I would tape them up nicely.

ANy others to second this opinion? (strength in numbers!)
