EBP of 97, what size box?

with an EBP of 97 for the ts-w5000spl what type of design should i look at for the vent. my max space available is 25x16x16 WxHxD.I also plan on putting double 3/4 mdf on the face. Would anyone recommend doing it all the way around, and is it worth it. any recommendations?

EBP near 100 is optimum for a vented system. Pioneer recommends 2 cuft with a single vent 4" diameter X 8.25" long (which is a tuning frequency of about 39Hz.) Your suggested dimensions will get you right at about the correct size. Double the front baffle, but no need to double the rest. Make sure it is braced. Pioneer also recommends that speaker for use in a bandpass enclosure since it is designed solely to generate max SPL.

do i need to put anything in the box to brace the sub. also what is the formula to calculate the port size. and big would the enclouse have to be for a bandpass design since i am looking for max spl

i looked it up and saw the size they recommend, but that box is to big. any way i could acheive the same output with out using the whole trunk. maybe facing the sub toward the lid or something similar?

The Pioneer owners manual for that sub includes several recommended alignments and enclosure sizes.

also i was readin about a transmission box. how do those work. as far a frequency goes.
