hello there,

after searching and reading alot of information, I feel even more confused then when I started.. I need to know if you can make a pair of dual voice coil 2/8 ohm speakers to both be 4ohm.. I am trying to bridge an orion xtr175 at 4 ohms..

I went to fosgate website and the only way the chart said I could do this is from 4 dvc speakers... so I was just wondering instead of having to buy 2 more speakers or another amp... thanks for any input...

No, you can not wire two DVC woofers @ 8 ohms per voice coil in a 4 ohm load. You can wire them in 2, 8, or 32 ohms.

I tried the calculators but I didnt understand how to make it work, thats when I went to the fosgate website like someone mentioned when I did a search...

but I understand it now I think posted_image
