Are your making a display box  or something using mobile audio?

start off by getting yourself a *BIG*   AC/DC converter.

I have heard from installers that if it is going to be a big load you can also hook up a battery such as a stinger or optima in the middle of the mobile audio system and the dc/ac power converter and that will lighten the load for the converter.
