Hi, great forum!

Heres my delima, a friend of mine gave me a 12" kicker comp "anniversary edition" sub in a box that is to small for it causes its bottoming out when reallly pushed . What i was wondering is if anyone knew how much air space is needed for this particular sub. I dont know how old it is but its at least 5 or more years old. Its sounds great, just think it needs a bigger box.

Thanks!!!!

Generally a larger box will lead to a sub bottoming out faster than a smaller box. You will need to pull the sub out and get a model number in order to get the specs necessary for a proper box.

Along with the specs for box size, find out the recommended RMS power as well.
