First let me start off by saying i have never seen this problem before. Had a customer install an amp and sub package in an 87 ford pickup. Now everything works fine with the key in the acc position car off. However when the car is turned on the amp powers up but no sound coming from sub. One problem I did find was the way he had his subs hooked up. He had a dvc with only one voice coil wired up. I understand that this is wrong but he still had sound coming from it with the key off and no sound with the car running. Any guesses.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
