is this a good deck or should i go with an eclipse 8455???? which is better? i have a premier 770mp that its replacing and i have never had anything other than pioneer or older alpines in the past so some input would be appreciated from owners of both.

Go with the Eclipse if your going to be running a full amplified system. The Pioneers have an inherent ground plane problem and it becomes more evident in vehicles with poor ground planes and when you add more than 1 amplifier into the system.
