Ok i got 2 jl audio 1000/1's, 1 jl audio 450/4, 2 jl audio w7 13.5, yellow top optima, and 2 alternators (140amp & 100amp). When i listen to the stereo at high volume, it drops the juice to below 10v, causing my 4ch to reset. The 4ch doesent go under protection, no speakers are grounding out and i have done the big 3 with 1/0 wire all around. I dont know why there isnt enough current having 240+amp alt and all...do u guys have any ideas to troubleshoot?

Do the math.  Each JL 1000/1 can draw 100 amps.  The 450/4 can draw 60 amps.  Your car probably uses somewhere in the vicinity of 30-40 amps.  Plus, your alternator output ratings are at max RPM, not at idle or slower speeds unless you have geared your pulley system appropriately.  Your electrical system is being overloaded.  My recommendation is different alternators (shoot for 400 amps total) or get rid of one of the 1000/1's.

I never did the math. But I used to have 1 JL 500/1 with 1 10" w7 in my 96 honda accord. Was that alternater enough? I dont think it was. Kinda funny that even a modest system like that could overload an electrical system.

Um...amps that put out lots of power require lots of power.

look into an domonick irragi cs-144 alternator.    they supply 300 amps at normal crusing speeds and 165-175 at idle.

be prepared for a sticker shock, but well worth every cent.
