Wussup all you audio junkies! Can anybody tell me what to do here; I have a JVC h/u with only 1 pair of RCAs, yet I have 2 amps that are both 2ch, do I get 2 "Y" connectors to have 1 pair per amp? Or must I get a xover? My last h/u had 3 pairs of RCAs but it went bad so I just bought this JVC KD-S550 h/u off ebay for $60 brand new but only has 1 pair RCAs.

You should be fine using a y adapter.  It might slightly degrade the signal.  It should work just fine.  Brian

Does one of your amps have an input and output?

If they do, you can plug an output from one amp into an input from the other amp, and from that amps output, run it up to the headunit.

Sounds confusing, but it's easier than it may sound.

I've run Y's before with little signal degradation.  The only thing to be aware of is that it adds a "weak link" in the wiring.  I always wrap the connection points of the Y adapters with electrical tape to ensure they don't come apart.  It's uaually not necessary, but it's a real pain in the ass when you have to tear the whole car apart again to reconnect them if they seperate!

thanx all of you for all advice.Neither of my amps have input & output, just input to recieve signal from h/u. Amps are Lanzar Vibe210(300w peak), and Lanzar Vibe250(1000w peak), both 2 channel.
