Ok my friend has a lancer and he has two Memphis 10's and a cheapo 750 amp and it is hooked up to his factory cd player. Ok I know having a factory cd player isnt great but man you can hardly hear and bass at all. What the probablem?

Disconnect one sub and see if it magically has bass. If it does, one sub was wired backwards, called out of phase. And yes, I never sleep.

you must also check the connections and levels of the line out converter that may have been used. A mistake there would have the same effect of a sub wired backwards.

Could check if your friend even has the amp hooked up to the battery with a power wire and if it is even grounded...remote wire?? amp connected to sub with speaker wire?? are the subs even in a box??

Just some simple suggestions for what to check.

And who needs sleep??? I'll sleep when I'm dead.
