i need to connect the amp to my stock deck

how do i get the stock deck out so that i can connect the wires?

not familliar with 03 civics, but on others you have to remove part of the console and bottom dash to access a few screws that hold the headunit in place.

Also some civics(not sure again if the 03's are liket his, but some that have factory keyless have to keep the factoy radio intact in the vehicle with a harness plugged into it (a green harness I believe) or else the factory keyless entry won't work. The factory headunt on these cars can be hidden behind the console, close to the front of the car.

I don't know if this was ay help, but it may come in handy.

just your luck i just figured one out the other day it's quite easy first of all the top part where the air vents are pops off start from back you'll see 3 scews holding the top of the radio, now comes the hard part first you have to pop off shifter cover then you'll see 2 screws holding in ashtray and lighter socket remove them the ashtray part is two pieces pop it out to after you do that you'll see 2 more scews remove them now ashtray ass.will come out the storage com should pop out now after it's out you'll be able to see the 2 sscrews holding the bottom of the radio after you remove these 2 scews the radio should slide out. yala
