i need to know what would be a good alternative to the audiobahn 8000v amp. I need 750 to 800 watts rms into 2 ohms. my budget is between $200.00 to $250.00. Also, would the audiobahn amp be a good amp?

A Radio Shack 40w power booster. I have a few in my garage, some in unopened boxes. $19.95 plus shipping. Pretty close to the same amount of real-world power... posted_image

I think its safe to say "NO", Audiobahn is not a good brand of amp. Or subs for that matter.

thats a lot of power to be asking for with only a $200 - $250. Although it is great to hear you are looking for something other than audioBLING, that budget wont get you a decent piece of equipment. My advice would be to save up for atleast twice of your cerrent budget and look around for a decent brand such as alpine, JBL, JL audio, or MTX etc...

Well I'll be the first one to give you a real response. I was in that same situation and needed the same power. The Kenwood KAC-9152D amp looks to be the best for the buck. Its the right power range and its only $189.oo with free shipping...Like a sore peter...cant beat it...
