ok read the forums didnt ever see a actual answer.. heres the jist of it. i have a ford explorer and ford winstar.. bought a radio "after market" and had it installed in the winstar, well now my wife wants it in the explorer after i paid a arm and right leg and kidney to get this installed in the windstar.. now i bought the wiring kit, hooked it up, nothing i get power and so forth but no sound.. i tried to direct wire it tried every combination with the thing.. still no sound no static nothing, i used a wire tester to find the +'s and -'s for each wire, got that done so tried again... no sound so somewhere im doing something wrong, or this had a pre installed amp "if it does could that be the prob," and if so can i just bypass that?? ANY help would be great im going nutts here and she driving me insane wanting this hooked up.. I have installed 100's of radios before and Never had this issue

if its in the Kick panel on the passanger side and Blue then yes i do... i read about the amps here and checked it's a small one if it is... totaly re-wired the front doors today, would rather just go back and use the wiring kit if possible.. the manufacture date on the explorer is 3/95 if that matters But back to the amp.. is that a amp and can that be used? or should i just bypass it?
