kicker comp series

What do you think about this sub

12'' comp from Kicker.  60$ good for the money or is something else comparable in price and performance?

Good luck with them....I have had nothing but problems trying to design a box with medium spl to SQ ratio.  I am now stuck with the choice of returning them for something else, or going with a sealed box with not much low end

well I think I am going to try them out.  I read your thread and sounds like you had a heck of a time.  Did you ever get it straight or have you moved onto something else?   I am going to do the 4 ohm version and only 1 12 as well that is all I need.  I have built many good boxes over the years probably more by luck from trial and error.  I will let you know how it all turns out.  It will be a week or so.

I decided to go with a Pioneer sub TS-W306DVC.  I know they are not known for awesome subs but I liked it so I went with it.  Built A sealed box for it over the weekend and am enjoying getting it set up.  I have a different thread asking for suggestions on a good amp for it.  Thanks for the inputs on this for me. Y'all are a good source help.
