What do you think about this sub

12'' comp from Kicker.  60$ good for the money or is something else comparable in price and performance?

Good bang for the buck...In the proper enclosure it will sound good.

Good luck with them....I have had nothing but problems trying to design a box with medium spl to SQ ratio.  I am now stuck with the choice of returning them for something else, or going with a sealed box with not much low end posted_image

You can see my frustrated thread here:

Let me know what you decide!

well I think I am going to try them out.  I read your thread and sounds like you had a heck of a time.  Did you ever get it straight or have you moved onto something else?   I am going to do the 4 ohm version and only 1 12 as well that is all I need.  I have built many good boxes over the years probably more by luck from trial and error.  I will let you know how it all turns out.  It will be a week or so.

thanks for your reply and thread to read

John

I decided to go with a Pioneer sub TS-W306DVC.  I know they are not known for awesome subs but I liked it so I went with it.  Built A sealed box for it over the weekend and am enjoying getting it set up.  I have a different thread asking for suggestions on a good amp for it.  Thanks for the inputs on this for me. Y'all are a good source help.

thanks again,

John
