I'm gonna but 2 JL 10W1s and a 250/1 as a little project for my 1996 Accord. It has a fold down rear seat, so I wanna face the subwoofers into the cabin, but in my 10+ years messing around with car audio, I never get good results. How do you make subs sound good firing towrad the front of the car?

Thanks in advace!

If you have such experience, why do you want to do it that way now?  Just for the looks of it from the driver's seat?  I say stick with the tried-and-true as nothing beats experience.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

You could do a bandpass with a plexiglass front, and  the ports facing either the deck or the rear.  You could also do a backwards loaded  solobaric with a plexiglass front.

I did the same in my last box and didnt like it either. I was also warned by many of my installer friends who do it for a living. They were right.

I think you can face them towards the front as long as the plane of the subs is sealed off from the back of the car so you dont get waves cancelling each other out. You also will probably not hit as low because now you are shortening your distance to the front of the car. make sense? good...
