My avic n1 unit in the past month has made a grinding noise and then suddenly the screen will no longer open or close. luckily it failed while the screen is up but it still makes the beeping noise. also the positive negative adjustments dont work either. i know this is a common problem does anyone know how to fix it??

I think its broke. Take it to a repair shop or call pioneer. I have never seen this before and I have install alot of avics.
