I have a 2001 Passat with a Gamma HU and an in-dash cd changer. The changer has just decided to keep 3 CD's. I was able to eject No's 1, 2, and 4 but not 3, 5 and 6.

When I tried to eject, the light flashed for a while and I could hear whirring noises. Then the light went out but no CD ejected. I've taken the front off the changer and can't see anything amiss. I don't know how to get into the changer unit.

Take it out and bring it to a local repai shop...You may wana caal local stereo shops and ask them who they use for repairs...You will spend around 50 to 100 for parts and labor..

Our rates for in-dash 6 disc changers run $200 to $225 parts and labor. If I found somebody who said they could fix it for $50 I would be highly skeptical.
