Hi, my friend has a 2000 mustang and he has the mach460 sound system. The system is 4 amplified component speakers that are, unfortunately, 8 ohms each. The problem is he blew the front 2 and needs them replaced, but needs to get new 8ohm speakers or if he replaced the headunit he can just redo the entire system. The thing is he doesn't want to replace the headunit because he wants to keep that stock since he won't be keeping the car much longer. I was just wondering if: anyone knows where to get 2 8ohm 6x9's, or anyone knows how to be able to put different ohm speakers in without replacing the headunit? This was all told to us by the installer when we were going to get them replaced.

check ebay or mustang forums for people getting rid of working speakers
