ok i have 4 subwoofers and 2 amps..the 2 amps are the same...i know i hook up the first amp completly and the 2nd one i think i just connect the RCA cables from the 1st amp to the 2nd one...and of course run it to the plus and negitive...so if i have the 2 amps connected and they both have bass knobs do i have use both bass knobs or does the first amp controll the 2nd amp...thank you...

Not all amplifiers are the same. What amplifiers are you using? Make, model number?

I would think, since they are only connected via the RCA cables, that the "bass knobs" (especially if they came with the amps) will only control the amp they are connected to unless they amps are networked. Also, depending on the amps, the "bass knob" may not be controlling signal amplitude running to the amps, but instead controlling the amount of boost at a certain frequency. Like the12volt said...make and model number would help.
