Ok. There are simple ways to mod your n2 and d1 to play video AND run all navigation features while you drive. The N3 even has a bypass now but what about all n1 users that update their maps only to find that they have lost half of their avic-n1 features in the process?

There is allegedly a way to upgrade your n1 with the n3 map disc AND bypass all video/nav. blocking. People are selling solutions on ebay and local shops are selling 60-100 bucks to upgrade the n1 maps to keep
all the features and that doesn't in clued the disc!?

If anyone has any insight on this subject, please, help a brotha out.

Please do not ask for bypass information on these forums.  It is illegal and unsafe to bypass the video safety interlocks on in-dash DVD players.  Read the forum rules please, thanks.
