I am trying to rewire my truck, and I have bought a interlok power ring and i cant figure out how to connect the wire to the connector

I believe your interloks work by unscrewing the piece on the bottom, threading the bare wire through the bottom ring into the upper portion and then screwing the bottom ring back on.

No instructions? Here's a case of RTFM... (and that's SUPPOSED to be sarcastic... not a slam.)

If still loose, then I'd say you got the wrong size for the wire you have.

4 gauge terminal for 4 gauge wire... sizes are correct

Did you try adjusting it with your poundometer?  Maybe solder it?

dangerranger96. try stripping back some more of the cable? you need enough to fold the wire over on the sleeve. Then feed it up into the ring and tighten!

thanks tune man... that worked, unfortunately, after i got that working, i found out the terminal was too big to connect to the post terminal... so i had to go with a lil crimp on piece... oh well
