Has anyone heard or have the new pioneer shallow mount subs. How are they versus kicker comps. Or does anyone know if a memphis 500/1 would be enough for 2 solo barics or should i run one amp per sub on the solos

ALL of the shallow mount subs Pioneer, Blaupunkt, Earthquake, and more I don't know about, are a solution to a problem. The problem is no depth space. These types of subs DO NOT hammer like a standard basketed sub. Don't be fooled by what you read. Do a search here on the 12volt....there is plenty to read about these types of drivers. Heres one link thats fun to read!

i agree with kartuneman, if you don't have a depth issue, then the shallow subs aren't for you. i've heard a couple of the pioneers in a regular cab s-10 and they sounded pretty good for what it was. but if you have the room for some kicker comps, you shouldn't need any shallow mounts.

no use for a name....did you read the stuff on that link I posted.....good stuff huh?
