They are very nice components but placing them into Q-Forms will be a total waste in my opinion. Those Q-Form's are not made for any specific speaker and may make the Focal's sound bad. My 2 c's.

I agree with Jeff...

they are nice sounding speakers...some of the best...however, honestly, I dont think they are worth all of the extra money that you have to spend over the PolyKevlars...I actually prefer the Kevlar driver over the Utopia driver, I think it has a much stronger midbass response to it...

however, putting either speaker into a Qform just doesnt make sense...I am not saying it will sound horrible in the Qforms, just that if you are going to spend that kind of money, make an enclosure that will allow you to appreciate your purchase...

some other comparable speakers quality wise would be Rainbows, the AVI BSM line, a/d/s/ PX series and the MB Quart QSD line...

the next speakers I will be buying will be the AVI Tri Stars...probably the nicest sounding speakers I have ever heard for a car audio application...if I had to pick a second it would be the a/d/s/...but so much is left up to personal opinion that you are better off to audition each choice yourself, and preferably in a car, not on a board...

My 2c's:  Personal opinion is correct.  But I still agree with Velocity and Purds.

Polykevlars (my 2nd choice) have a better mid-response but seems to be working hard to achieve it.  The utopia is too warm for MY taste and I cant hear the superiority, although very good separation.  MBQuarts have awesome mid-response - almost too much.  The Macintosh is a good sound to me but not for the money.

I am going for the Image Dynamics CSX6 components for a few bucks less.  Midbass is faint at low levels but concise at higher volumes.  I can play with the eq to make up the rest.  Vocals and highs are capitalized from the tweeter.  The best feature for my install is the pointsource mounting of that awesome 30mm tweeter!  No exterior surface mount.  I can put a 6.5 with a tweeter in a confined area with only a spacer to mod in the doors.  The CSX components are on back order though due to high demand on the tweeter.
