I have an Xtant 1244 sub, running at 2 ohms, powered by an Xtant 3.1 300 watt amp.  The dust cap on the sub is rattling loose or something because it is now sounding like it's blown, It's pretty much brand new.  Has anyone else had this problem?  I can push on the dust cap and it will clear up and be really good sounding for about 3 bass notes then it's rattling again?  If this has happened to anyone else can you please let me know what you did to fix it.  I have had two of these subs do this?  I don't know if they are just crappy constructed but they are suppose to be nice subs???  Any ideas???  Thanks for your help

Any of these subs I have used have had zero issues. If the subs are under warranty, which Xtant had or has a 5 year warranty (at least they did in Canada), get them looked at. Where did you purchase these subs, at a authorized dealer of ebay etc?

Well I just called Xtant they are really nice, said they could replace the sub but I would need a recipt, I guess take this as a warning to not buy electronics off Ebay you will only get screwed.

***** UPDATE *****

Last night I uninstalled my Xtant Sub from my box and realized two things, when attaching a large sub don't use crappy screws, get nice bolts, half of them almost pulled out from the sub hitting hard.

Second thing, the center dust cap was loose, so if anyone has this problem, it's nothing a little superglue can't fix,  I glued down the dust cap, and now the sub sounds great plus it's actually attached to my enclosure now!!!  YEA!!!  Gotta love super glue.
