Need more info... What kind of car? Did you use a harness to tie into the existing wires, or did you splice? Did the existing system have factory amps? If it did then you'll either need a line converter or re-wire the entire system to bypass them. ------------- Squirrel

i have a jensen 3010x cd player in my 92 accord lx and ive had the similar problem, my cd player will start playing and then all of a sudden the music will fade out or just cut off and then it will come back on when i like turn on the blinker or when im diong nothing particular, i can tell the cd player is still playing though, i used a harness to wire it, could that be the problem, should i get a new harness? i already double checked all the connections and they're good. whats wrong?

Use a different ground other than the one from the OEM plug.

Try another HU and see if it does the same thing. Ask one of your friends to borrow thier HU and post your results.
