I was wondering of those of you that mounted an amp under the driver's seat on a 7th gen accord:

--Did you screw into the floor, or place some wood under the carpet to screw into?
--Did you ground to the seat bolt, or is there something better under the carpet?

I know mine will fit there, I just want to have my bases covered when I pull the whole

car

Thanks for your reply...yeah that's why I'm asking...if anyone had screwed into the floor there and if it was clear! I assume looking from underneath the car doesn't always tell the tale!

I was thinking if I had to use a seat bolt, I'd put it under the seat mount and scratch away the paint from the floor...decent?

Another option to consider is using heavy-duty adhesive Velcro. Stick the "hook" side to the bottom of the amp and it will stay securely positioned on most automotive carpet. Keeps the amp from sliding around. Available at most hardware stores.
