I've got two rockford amps, both pushing 2 15" treo ssi 4 0hm dvc subs. I want to upgrade to get full power to my subs, but I am not sure if I should go with a dual or single amp setup. I like the look of dual amp, and if one of my subs goes, the impedance won't change and ruin the other sub, but a single amp setup is cheaper, and pushes both subs exactly the same. I am having a problem with my dual amp setup now in that one subs is hitting slightly harder than the other (the output voltage is about 1 volt ac higher), cuz the amps are slightly different. (same model, i think one's a little newer). If i get two amps exactly the same, brand new, is it possible i might still have the same prob, and is there a way to fix it?

You can adjust the output of the amp so that they both are the same output voltage.  Just the lightest touch on the gain will make a 1 volt difference...if you can get it that close, even.  When you're at ~28 volts and higher, 1 volt isn't that much difference to worry about.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

I think i finally found some good amps, for a decent price on ebay. An Orion HCCA-D2400. They push 800 rms into 2 ohms, and people have told me they are good amps. Did I find the right one this time?

I dont think anyone can say with huge certainty that they found good amps on ebay. You never know what you are buying until you get it on that place. Ebay is full of scams.
