hi im new and was wondering if someone coupld help me install my cd player in my 1987 mazda 323...its causing me to have lots of problems...thanx

So, what are the problems? Velocity Motors borrowed my crystal ball and won't give it back and Madame Clara is out of town.

the deck doesnt power and ive checked both of the fuses in the car and the deck...

do you have a distrubution block under the hood, if so check fuses there. that is where the constant fuse is on some cars.

so did you meter both powers and ground right at the back of the HU?  and all was good?  that pretty much denotes a problem internally in the HU, doesnt it?

if my memory serves me correctly ( probably not after 9866 Coronas) the older Mazdas used a negative power antenna circuit, not a postive like most vehicles... check to make sure you havent zapped something on the remote/P Ant output....
