Okay guys and gals, I have a problem. I just got done building a system consisting of 4 15's and 2 amps. I have the woofers wired at 1ohm mono; two per amp. The box is a mono box, and this is where the problem lies. I need to gain match the amps, and all I have is a digital multimeter; I have heard that this is sufficient to gain match the amps. How do I go about doing this.......Please help me as I need to finish the car tomorrow.

thanks to all

eric

Calculate the proper voltage for the target power output at your net load.  Give the amps the same input level and adjust the input gain until you read the same AC voltage on the speaker terminals.  Use a test tone in the pass-band of the woofers and make sure they are disconnected when you measure the amplifier voltage.
