Hello,

I have a Toyota Camry 92 4-Door Sedan. I recently installed a ECD12 head unit which was described as...

*10 watts RMS x 4 channels Power Output into 4ohms
*Signal to noise ratio: 70dBA below reference into 4            ohms
    *Dynamic Power: 20 watts @ 4 ohms x4 channels
    *Frequency Response: 20 Hz x 20 kHz (-3dB)
    *Reference Supply Voltage 14.4VDC
    *Single CD player
    *Green backlit display
    *Audio mute
    *Pre-amp output

I have factory speakers and as far as I know no amp. I'm hoping you guys can give me suggestions on hardware that would make my car sound better with a minimal budget. My friend suggested that a 50/100 W amp would make my car sound better by itself. Do you think a 50/100W amp would be a noticable difference? As far as speakers, I am just hoping for some input on what would work in my car and any suggestions. I am fairly new to car audio and electronics so please don't flame me if I say something stupid. posted_image

Thank You.

*10 watts RMS x 4 channels Power Output into 4ohms
*Signal to noise ratio: 70dBA below reference into 4            ohms
    *Dynamic Power: 20 watts @ 4 ohms x4 channels
    *Frequency Response: 20 Hz x 20 kHz (-3dB)
    *Reference Supply Voltage 14.4VDC
    *Single CD player
    *Green backlit display
    *Audio mute
    *Pre-amp output

well, actually i'm thinking that i may just buy parts one at a time. I believe it's better to buy good quality items even if it takes more money in the long run. i don't need a full system but i think i'm willing to spend around 200-300 dollars to try to get a medium quality sound system. I won the ECD12 on ebay like you guessed. I noticed it sounds better than my factory head but has primitive features. I think it may be better to upgrade my head system and the speakers, but I need an professionals input posted_image

Thanks.

OK bad monkey, I would get a mid level 4-ch amp and amp your stock spkrs for now...just keep volumes down. Buy another set of spkrs to replace the stock as you can afford it.
