Hello,

I search through the forums but I wasn't able to find a specific topic regarding the installation of a head unit into a 2006 Liberty. The closest I found was: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=15412&KW=jeep+liberty+head+unit+install

Anyone know if the walk through is correct for a 2006 Liberty? Need some help with this install, thanks for any help. If you can provide a walk through or a link to one I would really appriecate it.

Btw going to install a set of Alpine Type R components in all doors, a couple of 12" Infinity Perfects, two Alpine amps and the Alpine head unit.

Thanks for your time,
Efrain.

Have a good read of this thread  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=78731&PN=1

The first pic is what not to do and is taken from a 2006 Jeep Liberty. The balance of the pics are from a different vehicle but the principle is the same. The rear and front speakers have molex's in the doors that you will have to get through. The mounting adaptor plate for the speakers is the same in the front and the back, so make a good template and then duplicate 3 more of them. Other than that the install is pretty darn simple.
