i have a 2001 impala and i wanted to put an aftermarket radio but after i hook up every thing the radio turns on but i get no sound, i wanted to know what can i do to make the speakers play thank you.

do you have a factory amp?

does your car have premium sound?

YES IT HAS A FACTORY AMP, AND NO IT DONT HAVE PREMIUM SOUND IS JUST THE BASIC.

Did you hard wire it....? Or use the proper adapter for the radio harness?

I USE A WIRE HARNES FOR THAT CAR AND YEAR.

Make sure that the white wire in the radio harness is connected to your new radio's remote turn on wire. This will turn the amp on.
