hi everybody i m having problems choosing an amplifier for my system plz HELP ME !!!!

i have bought off ebay the following speakers:

pioneer
front speakers: 50 watts (nominal power)
220 wats (peak power)
4 ohm

pioneer
rear speakers: 80 watts (nominal power)
460 watts (peak power)
4 ohm

i have no subwoofer

I need to know what kind of amplifier i should buy for these speakers
how many channels? one with 4 channels or 2 with 2 channels??
if it is one amp with 4 channels how much wattage i should be looking for in the amp?
and if it is two with 2 channels same thing (about wattage)

the thing is that i dont know how to combine the speaker power (u know peak power and nominal power)with the amp power(peak and nominal power) if u know what i mean.
If im not being very clear plz let me know and ill bring somebody fluent in English..
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME I REALLY APPRECIATE IT !!!!

Don't pay any attention to peak power handing. What you should be worried about is RMS. What you will need is a 4 channel amp to drive all 4 speakers. An amp that does 4 x 50 watts rms or higher is good enough and pretty easy to find.

How much are you looking to spend?

hi and thanks for ur quick answers but if i buy the 50 x 4 amplifier dont u think my rear speakers will need more power since their rms is 80 watts???

because right now i have a 50 x 4 that amp that came with the avic but i thought since im changing the speakers to more powerful ones i may need more power too but once again i dont know much so plz tell me about that  and thanksssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

nope your rears should ideally be quieter than your fronts. And the fronts can only handle 50 rms watts, so just stick with a 50x4. If you want it to be louder upgrade the front speakers and the amp.
