bass boost only work on one sub

Hi!

I have two kicker L5 with an infinity 7541a reference in bridged mode (2x278watts rms in 4 ohms). The subwoofers are wired in a 4ohm load. The bass boost only affect the rear channel on this amp.  I plug my RCA in the rear channel and  there's only one subwoofer working (the right one). The other sub (left one) is wired properly and the amp is bridged as the manual said. If I split my rca, plug one of them in the front channel and the other one in the rear channel, the two subwoofer works but the one plugged in the front channel doesn't take the bass boost of the amplifier and the one plugged in the rear channel takes the bass boost. I'm wondering if my amplifier is broke or if I have make a bad wiring. In resume, I want my amplifier to give is bass boost to the two subwoofer.

Can you help me please! I would love these bad boys to hit hard on the streets when I go back to school on thursday.

Sounds to me like the amp is fine.  You're running a 4 channel amp.  That amp only has a bass boost for the rear channel.  That's why only 1 sub is benefitting from the bass boost being turned on.  Best bet would be to use that amp to power your interior speakers and grab a 2 channel or mono samp to power your subs.

aaahhh........good call. i think i confused myself while reading (long day at best buy, you know what i mean cntrylvr79). that is right. the boost will only work on the rear channels. i'd definately get a good quality mono amp for the subs. that should solve your problems.

I jus switched my amp in my car i put my amplifier on my 4 speakers and now I have a two channel on my kickers pushing around 250 watts rmsx2 but still one subb look more powerfful than the other one and my settings are the same for both of them and the fader and balance is at 0.

it is more powerfull the bass is more precise and its punches more, the bass is more clear. yes the box is divided in two 1 room for each sub. They are wired for 4 ohms load but my subs can take 2ohms. One of my voice coil is broke on the subwoofer that punch less than the other but I use the other one and it works.
