pioneer aux problem

I hooked up a terked XM tuner with the universal piece and when I turned the AUX source on my radio nothin happens. The radio just sits at the AUX screen and doesn't see the XM. My radio is a deh-850mp. any help would be great.

Turn the unit off and there is another menu available. You may have the aux turned off.

Are you using a direct plug in? If so then try this, turn the radio off using the source button. Then hold the function button down, it should bring up some options, find the one for the aux and see if it switches to sat or like.

You may also want to hit the reset button on both the xm and the radio, it should be a small button you use a pen tip to push.

All else fails find the owner's and isntall manual.
