Hello to all. My dilema is that I have a radio that I have to install into a 95 Mercury Villager which has a factory amp. I got the wire harness that goes along with it but noticed that only the power, ground, illumination connection can be used due to the fact of the factory amp. I was wondering if anyone could assist me in installing this from the radio plug output to the amp. Or should I just bypass the amp and run wires to the back where the outputs go to the speakers?   Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you got this harness: https://www.scosche.com/scosche_caraudio.aspx?ItemID=FD02B&CategoryID=78

Take it back and get this one: https://www.scosche.com/scosche_caraudio.aspx?ItemID=FDK4B&CategoryID=78

It should be a straight forward install after that.  Be sure to connect the factory amp turn on lead (maybe blue or blue/white).
