I have a pair of Boss subs they are 1000 watts max and 500 watts rms each. @ 4 ohms each. I am having a hard time finding a amp for them. I am fairly new at this I need to know what rating amp to look for and what not. thanks

Any 500 watt @ 2 ohm monoblock would do you just fine. Parallel the woofers for 2 ohms, and call it a day.
Those woofers WILL NOT handle a real 500 watts, so that's why I am not recommending a 1000 w @ 2 ohm monoblock. As a suggestion, though? STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING WITH CHROME FLAMES AND BLUE LEDS, i.e. Audiobahn.
