The antenna connector is there and can be re-routed to the center of the dash. The antenna lead passes directly underneath the factory casette deck, so just pull it back. You may want to check to see that it isn't corroded. Many factory antennas had this problem. Find the antenna connector under the hood on the passenger side fender. It is clipped to the fender below the antenna base next to the coolant reservoir. Peel back the rubber boot and inspect the antenna to see if it clean and not tarnished. If it is, replace the entire antenna with a new one. If it is OK, then you will need an antenna lead adaptor to convert it to a normal connector for your new radio. It is also advisable to get a factory adaptor plug for the radio wiring harness. It will make installation easy and extends the wires so they will reach your new radio.
