I am looking at installing a second generation ps2 in my auto.  I am concerned with how durable the ps2 is to operating upside down and the handling the -30 to 100+ temps of my area?

maybe if you are going to leave your car outside overnight and its going to hit those extremes, you should just bring it inside etc... :-/

It wont operate upside down properly for long, I tried it. As for the extreme temperatures, what you listed is outside its operating range but I can say from experience living in an enviroment that can fluctuate more than that that it will work so long as you let the car reach a regular temp before booting it up.

i want it mounted to the roof. in order to have access to the flip door it would need to be upside down.
