I need some assistance with wiring my sub's. For some reason, I keep blowing the (right )sub. I replaced it with a brand new one ( same model and size ) and it blew too. I think it is wired wrong, so I need help.                                             --THIS IS MY SETUP--

      **(2) Dual 1ohm Voice Coil 12'S         **(1) Mono 2400w Amp ( 1ohm stable )

Each sub's VC are wired in series:      [1]  - (+)VC wired to the (-)VC input on opposite side of the woofer. Which leaves a (+) on one VC and a (-) on the other open.

  - I have a (+) on one VC, and a (-) on the other VC open on each speaker. The subs are now     measuring (2ohms) each. I then wired them both together PARALLEL. With the VC's wired in SERIES on each sub, that leaves me with a (+) on one VC and a (-) on the other VC for each sub. So I have the (+)  wire from one sub twisted together with the (+) wire from the other in the (+) terminal of the amp. Same thing for the (-) wires. SERIES2ohms each sub, then PARALLEL into the amp @ 1ohm.  What did I do wrong?

Sounds like your wiring is correct.  What is the make/model of the subs and the amp?  Could be you are overpowering the subs.  How is the gain set on the amp?   What are the enclosure specs (size, porting, etc)?
