You need to provide your own laptop, the system I believe you are reffering to is a term-lab system. You can get them from termpro.com or dbdrag.com
This is the meter used by all offical sanctioned compititions. They range from $600-$900 based upon equipment.
Very very excelent system, I have had one for about 8 months now and would not give it up for anything.
Sometimes you can find them on ebay for $300-$400 used but it you get a bad sensor you will have to pay the $250-$350 for the replacement sensor.
The SA systems are a standalone system that has the display without a laptop, but you will need a mic for that. A good mic is the 180 or 190 series mic, but you would spend for for the SA and the Mic then you would on a laptop based term-lab system.
