Lanzar OPTI1532D, is it a good sub does anybody know if it can handle 1300rms or even 1000rms. I know the optidrive line is supposed to be dependable but still I've had problems with lanzar before and now I just want to know this for a friend who is interested in the product cuz since he can get a good deal he wants them. I appreciate the help and if you have any suggestions about a couple of 15 inch subs go head and throw them out there oh and he's lookin to spend about $450 on both subs.

I would be confident using that sub in a sealed box, 1.5 cu ft per sub.  But not in vented by any means.  I wouldn't use it in competition, though, so a reference to 1000 watts to each is a moot point.  They'll perform just fine with much less power than that.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
