Well my question is this is a 2002 Tahoe it doesn't have bose but since it has a factory sub it the system still amplified, hooked up a harness to it and pluged it in it would power up but no sound what so ever i double checked everything it was correct and even put it in my 2001 chevy pickup and it worked fine is there a wire in the factory harness that you have turn on like a remote wire to turn the factory amp on or is that not even the problem

If your truck does have an amp, there is a pink wire in the small plug in the center of the radio. It is the amp turn on wire. Hook it to the remote wire from your deck.

Yes. It has 9 cavities in it. It is separate from the main plug.
