diagnostic light on kenwood amp?

Well my friend just got a amp from a friend and the guy didn't tell him anything about it. So we wire up the power wire's and the "Diagnostic light" is on and the power light isn't. Can someone tell me what this is ????

im guessing something is wrong with it. try maybe emailing their customer support, or look into your manual.
