I am looking to put sound proofing material in my car.  I do not want to use dynamat because it is waaaayyyyyy overpriced.  Any suggestions on a good alternative as well as thickness?  The car is a 97 Camaro and 3 JL W3 12 inch subs are going in the back as well as 4 soundstream spl 6.5 inch speakers in the doors and rear seat area.  Any other suggestions about installation would be appreciated.  Thanks for your time.

I use Brown Bread for all my installs its a high quality product at a fraction of the price https://www.b-quiet.com/brownbread.html

I second that suggestion...works great and sticks way better than the Dynamat anyways...

I need to know how many sq. ft. of this to buy.  I am planning on gutting my entire car and covering every inch of it including my deck lid and doors.  Once againg it is a 1997 camaro.  thanks

just a very *rough* estimate would be somewhere around 160-180 sq ft...

I am purely gestimating that number based on vague body dimensions...trying hard to think ab out the interiors  of the F body but was never a fan so that is just a rough guess...any of the installers here do a Fbody before?
